Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: ovate;
    Thickness: thick;
    Form: -Mesial slightly flat;
    Form: -Lateral convex;
    Dorsal margin: rounded and raised anteriorly;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: entire to slightly irregular;
    Ventral margin: rounded and entire;
    Posterior margin: slightly rounded to flat;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Colliculum: heteromorph;
    Pseudocolliculum: present, as long as posterior colliculum;
    Ostium: oblong, directed somewhat upwards;
    Cauda: short, oblong, directed somewhat up wards, tip poorly defined;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: slightly ventrally constricted;
    Collum: absent;
    Crista superior: low ridge from ostium to mid-cauda, poorly developed posteriorly;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed along entire sulcus;
    Dorsal depression: small and shallow;
    Ventral depression: absent;
    Rostrum: large, angled with sharply rounded tip;
    Antirostrum: small, narrow and sharply rounded;
    Excisura: moderately wide, notch shallow, angle acute;
