Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: approximately rectangular;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Posterior margin: sharply rounded, and flattened ventrally;
    Dorsal depression: very narrow and elongate;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, well developed under cauda;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over anterior portion of the cauda;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: deep and wide, strongly flexed, ending close to ventral margin;
    Ostium: small, oval and externally protruding;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Excisura: moderately wide;
    Antirostrum: sharply pointed;
    Rostrum: reduced or absent;
    Ventral depression: absent;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, low anterior and indistinct posterior colliculi;
    Form: -Mesial slightly convex;
    Dorsal margin: slightly rounded;
